HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?Our shop minimum is $150 for a tattoo which does have some flexibility. Pricing on a tattoo varies depending on the specialities and experience level of your artist, the amount of work required to complete the details of your final design, as well as, the intended size and placement of the body art. Please submit our TATTOO QUOTE REQUEST FORM for the most accurate estimate.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?You must be at least eighteen years of age to get a tattoo. A valid state or federal photo identification proving your age must be presented at the time of your appointment at Tatnuck Tattoo with absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Massachusetts state law prohibits tattooing a minor even with parental consent, and we adhere strictly to this policy of the state.

HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?Regular clients can book on our BOOK NOW page. All other clients please submit the TATTOO QUOTE REQUEST FORM prior to booking. We welcome any questions via phone or e-mail, and appointments are available up to three months in advance. We look forward to hearing from you!

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A WALK-IN APPOINTMENT?Walk-in appointments are available daily on a first-come, first-serve basis. The best way to check availability for the day you’d like to come in is to call or text (508) 304-9160. If you’re ready to get tattooed, we’ll do our best to make it happen!

CAN I BRING MY OWN DESIGN?Yes, you're welcome to bring your own design. We offer free consultations to help plan and refine your idea, but the first step is to communicate your idea by submitting our TATTOO QUOTE REQUEST FORM. Walk-ins are accepted for smaller tattoos. Please keep in mind that some designs will require extra prep time.

WHAT ABOUT ALLERGIES TO INK?We use high-quality and hypoallergenic inks, but everybody reacts differently to being tattooed. If you have concerns, we recommend starting with a small tattoo to test your body's reaction. Always inform your artist if you have a history of allergies.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR GETTING TATTOOED?Make sure to eat beforehand and stay hydrated. If you start feeling woozy, a soda can help. Avoid partying the night before, as alcohol can affect your tattoo’s appearance and healing. Stay calm, you're in good hands!

HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?A tattoo typically takes two to three weeks to heal on the surface, but it can take several months for the skin to fully regenerate.

DO YOU DO COVER-UPS?Yes, many of our artists are experienced with cover-ups. Not every tattoo can be covered easily. In order to define your options for your unique cover-up, we recommend submitting your cover-up idea to us via our TATTOO QUOTE REQUEST FORM. Our artists look forward to working with you!

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), as well as digital payment options like Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay. Tips are always appreciated by artists but are not required. No checks please and thank you.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?Yes, a deposit is required to schedule an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, but are applied to the final price of your tattoo or to your last tattoo session (if your body art requires more than one session to complete).
